Dads Unlimited
Dads Unlimited is an online resource and community platform designed to support fathers in their journey through parenthood and family life. The organization offers a variety of resources tailored to address the unique needs and challenges faced by fathers today. Including advice around Co-parenting, support around Child Arrangements, Community Activities or Separated Dads and their Children.
Dads Unlimited supports the emotional safety of men and those they care about through three key areas; supporting male victims of domestic abuse, supporting men with family separation, and supporting men’s mental health. All of the services use an evidence-based, trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
They do this through the provision of a family separation helpline, One-to-One Mentoring Advice, Mental Health Support, Family Court Support / Barrister Representation Service, Peer-led Support Groups, Education and Social Services Liaison, Pastoral Support, and Adult and Child Community Activities.
In 2021, they launched one of the UK’s first male-victim domestic abuse support services for men in Kent and Medway. The service is open to men without children as well as the Dads who they support. In 2023, the service expanded to support male victims of domestic abuse across England and Wales.
